A LOVING HOME
At KBD we strongly believe that every dog deserves unconditional love from a family for their entire life.
We are committed to growing slowly and ensuring we are giving every breeding dog the love and attention they deserve. In order to fulfill this commitment we place some of our breeding dogs in loving guardian homes.
A GUARDIAN HOME
A guardian home is a permanent home for one of our breeding males or females. Becoming a guardian family gives you the opportunity to have one of our, “Pick of the Litter” puppies as a family pet for free!
A guardian family agrees to raise and care for one of our KBD dogs as a loved family pet during his/her breeding career. Once a guardian dog has completed his/her breeding career the dog is then spayed/neutered and ownership of the dog is transferred to the guardian family.
KBD's guardian homes are an extension of our family. We carefully select each guardian family to ensure our breeding males or females are being placed in loving homes and given the training and care that surpasses our standards.
The Stewart Family
Hazel's Guardians
We are Andrew and Amy Stewart. We live in South Lebanon, Ohio.
When we aren't working, we both love to be outdoors hiking and exploring new places. Amy loves reading and baking as hobbies and Andrew enjoys coaching youth basketball.
We were thrilled to welcome Hazel Brynne into our family in August 2021. She has completely changed our lives in the best ways!
She is so sweet and fun, and we look forward to years of adventures ahead with her!
The Popovic Family
Scout's Guardians
We are the Popovic family and we live in Indiana. We spend a lot of time outdoors, playing sports, riding bikes, and walking with our dogs.
We welcomed a 3|17 Korte Bernedoodle puppy (from Ivy & Boone's Avengers litter) in December of 2023, and in April of 2024 we welcomed Scout who has been a wonderful addition to our family.
Scout is the sweetest, gentlest dog who adores our children and his brother (Bernedoodle Finn). He is a giant lap dog who loves nothing more than to cuddle with his family.

Marigold's Guardians
We are Ron and Deb Dodson.
We are both retired from our career jobs, and recently moved to Indian Lake, Ohio. We enjoy boating, kayaking, and relaxing in the sunshine.
In July 2024, we were thrilled to become the Guardian Family for Marigold Jane (Goldie). Goldie was the "pick of the litter" puppy from Remington and Boone's retirement litter. Goldie is completely adorable, very smart, inquisitive, and cuddly.
Goldie joined our family along with our 9 year old Goldendoodle, Jordy. Goldie and Jordy quickly became best of buddies. It is such a joy to see them together.
We all love and adore our "Goldie Girl"!
The Westley/Jones Family
Primrose's Guardians
We are the Westley/Jones Family and we live in Loveland, Ohio. Most recently, we are the proud guardians of Prim (Primrose Faye).
We are a blended family with 6 kids ranging from 26 years of age to 17. We keep incredibly busy with sports, college visits and our other 2 dogs (Maggie and Ruby). We enjoy every minute we spend with our kids, often this includes playing games, trips to Northern Michigan, boating, and family dinners.
Prim has been such a welcomed addition to our family. Her temperament is outstanding and she has brought nothing but joy and playfulness into our lives. She is a lover and a cuddler befitting of the term "velcro" puppy. We feel blessed and lucky to have her join our family.
