We Strive To Breed Healthy & Happy Puppies
We offer a 2 year health guarantee because we are confident in the puppies we are producing. Our females and males are all cleared by parentage and cleared through Embark Genetics/GenSol. They have also all passed their OFA prelims for hips and elbows/PennHIP.
Our purebred females and males are all AKC registered and carefully selected to ensure we are breeding adult dogs with longevity in their lines.
We make sure we are breeding not only beautiful Bernedoodles but puppies who are healthy and confident to enter into their new worlds.
Early Neurological Stimulation & Early Scent Introduction
All puppies at KBD undergo Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI). ENS's focus is to improve cardiovascular performance, stronger heart beats, stronger adrenal glands, more tolerance to stress, and a greater resistance to disease.
Puppies also undergo ESI and are exposed to a variety of different scents.
The benefit of ESI is to create nose awareness and confidence. These skills are great for hunting, tracking, and diabetic alert dogs.
Puppy Evaluations/Appitude Testing
All puppies at KBD undergo The BAB Aptitude Test/Puppy Evaluation at 7 weeks old.
Puppies are evaluated on assertiveness, confidence, motivation level, nerve strength/resiliency, touch tolerance, energy level, sound sensitivity, sight sensitivity, prey drive, human focus or pack drive, tenderhearted, and dog friendliness.
All puppy Score Cards are emailed out to families prior to "Go Home Day" in order to help match family and puppy needs for a successful match.
